Here are some really great ideas for your home sensory table. They are really fun for the kids and easy for you to quickly set up! Enjoy :)
Going Buggy: Fill your sensory table with green Easter grass. Then take plastic bugs and hide them everywhere! Give your kids tweezers and watch them hunt for the plastic bugs!
GOOP!
Here are two ways to play with goop in your sensory tables!
Goop Recipe:
1. Empty a box of cornstarch into a bowl.
2. Add 1-1/2 cups of water.
3. Mix the goo with your hands!
The picture above shows goop along with some water beads! The difference in the texture of the goop and the squishiness of the water beads is very interesting for kids! They will have fun for sure!
Add some shaving cream to your goop and make it even messier!
Gardening: Get dirty! Let your kids get dirty and dig in a soil sensory table. Buckets, shovels, plants, worms are all invited!
Mashed Potato Center: Yes that's right, I said mashed potatoes! Let you kids play with their food and fill a sensory table with some instant mashed potatoes! They will get a kick out of this one!
